teaching is my craft.
I'm Colombian, I live in Hollywood, FL, and I've been teaching English for more than six years. I hold a Bachelor's in Bilingualism with English Emphasis and a Master's in Bilingual Education. I'm currently completing a Master's in Education with Special Education Emphasis.
I believe learning a language is much more than memorizing vocabulary — it's gaining the confidence to be yourself in another language. My approach is patient, conversational, and structured, tailored to each student's age and pace.

Are classes in-person or virtual?
All classes are virtual on Google Meet. No travel, no rigid schedules — learn from wherever you are.
Are classes taught in English or Spanish?
I offer two services: English classes for Spanish speakers, and Spanish classes for English speakers. In either one, your plan is designed around your level and goals — fully personalized to you.
Can I start if I know no English at all?
Yes. I teach from zero — many of my students started without knowing any English. My training in bilingualism and teaching experience let me guide you step by step and explain in Spanish anything you need. What matters is consistency, not your starting point.
Is a bilingual teacher or a native English teacher better?
It depends on your level. A native teacher is excellent once you have a foundation and want to polish accent or fluency. A bilingual teacher is more effective for beginners and intermediates because they understand the typical mistakes Spanish speakers make and can explain in your language when you get lost.
How long is each class?
All classes are 60 minutes long, including the intro session.
What do I need to get started?
Just a stable internet connection, headphones, and motivation to learn. I take care of your study plan and materials.
How long does it take to design my plan?
My goal is to have it ready within one week after your intro session. I'll message you on WhatsApp or email as soon as it's ready so we can start.
Can I change my class schedule week to week?
Yes. We coordinate day and time on WhatsApp week by week — you pick what fits you best based on my availability.
Can I take classes with my partner or family?
My main focus is individual classes — that way the class stays fully centered on you and your progress. If you want to take classes with your partner or family, we can discuss it at your intro session.
How do I pay for classes?
We accept Zelle or card (via Stripe). We coordinate your preferred method at booking.
What if I need to cancel a class?
Let me know at least 12 hours in advance and we reschedule at no cost. Late cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable.
Do you work with young children?
Yes — I teach children from age 5. Classes adapt with games, songs, and playful activities based on age.
